European Partnership on Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) meets in Rome for its General Assembly

On the 20th and 21st of February 2024, THCS Partnership convened its General Assembly at “Spazio Europa”, in the heart of Rome. The meeting saw the participation of more than 55 partner representatives and an additional 30 individuals who joined remotely.
The primary objective of the GA was to apprise partners of the ongoing initiatives, synchronize the efforts and gain insights into forthcoming activities.
The meeting was also the occasion to introduce potential new participants to the Partnership, as was the case of the Czech Republic Ministry of Health.
During the GA, an extensive recap of the activities foreseen for AWP 2024 was made, with each WP presenting its strategies and future tasks to be undertaken.
Among the debated topics, particular emphasis was given to the strategic role of the advisory board and the national mirror groups, both currently under establishment.
Attention was also dedicated to the results of the 2023 Joint Transnational Call, as well as the budgetary aspects of the partnership, with a final session focusing on the technical and financial report that will have to be submitted to the EC.
The next appointment for the consortium will be in autumn, when partners will meet in Edinburgh, Scotland, for the next General Assembly.
