Organized by HADEA, the objective of the meeting was to to trigger cooperation and networking among projects working on similar issues. Representatives from HADEA, as well as the European Commission, were present, making the event a fruitful occasion for discussion and mutual knowledge.
THCS presented its activities during one of the parallel break out meetings together with other 6 projects (4 Research & Innovation Actions, 1 co-fund and 1 Pre-commercial Procurement Action) coming from both Destinations 3 (Tackling diseases and reducing disease burden) and 4 (Ensuring access to innovative, sustainable and high-quality health care) of Cluster 1 - Health of Horizon Europe.
The initiatives presented were: ERA4Health, which promotes transnational collaborative research in priority areas addressing European public health needs; DYNAMO, which works on the planning of data-driven care pathways for situations where health system functions are threatened; Invest4Health, mobilizing novel finance models for health promotion and disease prevention; PRUDENT, for the promotion of a sustainable dentistry; FLASH, focusing on healthcare financing mechanisms, and PREVENTABLE, which sights to estimate the cost-benefit of risk-reduction interventions in Rare tumor risk syndromes (RTRS).
The event proved to be a very good opportunity for THCS to establish connection with these sister initiatives, promoting dialogue, networking and exchange and optimizing dissemination and exploitation efforts.
